Arch. Krista Nikolova Spaces with History and Soul

“In my practice, I am guided by the belief that contemporary architecture should combine impeccable functionality, high aesthetic standards and timelessness. Continuity and evolution.”

The Journey: From Cultural Heritage to Contemporary Form

Krista Nikolova graduated in Architecture from the Lyuben Karavelov University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in 2018 and began her professional journey under the mentorship of the renowned Arch. Yuliy Farkov at the architectural studio F Deco. There, she was introduced to the richness and magic of the past, contributing to numerous projects for conservation and restoration of cultural heritage sites. Under Arch. Farkov's guidance, she also developed a thorough understanding of ergonomics and functionality in the design of contemporary residential buildings. During her time at the studio, she participated in a number of symposiums and contributed to publications as an author.

The Transformation: From Architecture to Interior

In 2021, she joined the team of Atelier 360, where she discovered a new creative passion — interior design.

The Symbiosis: Atelier 360 Today

In 2023, she took the next major step in her career, becoming a partner in the company. Together with the studio's founder — Mimi Farkova, they are successfully developing the studio across its two main fields:

  • Architectural Design — creating sustainable, functional and contemporary buildings with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Interior Design — shaping spaces with character and individuality, guided by the principles of ergonomics and functionality.

The greatest strength of the studio, however, lies in the synergy between these two disciplines.

“We believe that the purest form of art emerges when the boundary between exterior and interior disappears. That is why we focus on creating complete, cohesive projects — from the first sketch and the architectural volume of the building to the final textile texture and bespoke design detail.“
